We work with communities to frame their own narratives, tell their own stories from their indigenous knowledge.

We place special focus on working alongside women living in poverty because, equipped with the proper resources, women have the power to help whole families and entire communities escape poverty. Women are at the heart of NH’s community- based efforts to improve basic education, prevent the spread of diseases, and increase access to clean water and sanitation, expand economic opportunities and protect natural resources. NH also delivers emergency aid to survivors of conflict and natural disasters, and helps people rebuild their lives.
